TV Martí nominated for interactive storytelling Emmy award

Television Martí reporter Bobby Salamanca Jr., Clive Rudd, Carlos Ojeda, and Ignacio Gonzalez were nominated for a 2016 Suncoast Regional Emmy Award in the Interactivity category for their work on Pablito, El Fan #1 de La Pelota en Cuba. The project involved finding an anonymous baseball fan who had given passionate interviews about the sport on the same corner of Havana’s Parque Central in 1995 and again in 2016. The campaign successfully identified the man as Pablito and garnered a lot of audience engagement.
