The Kyiv Post named RFE/RL Ukrainian Service correspondent Natalie Sedletska, the host of the Service’s popular anti-corruption show Schemes: Corruption in details, one of the “30 Under 30” to watch.

Schemes is a joint project of RFE/RL Ukrainian Service and local Ukrainian channel UA First which works to uncover corruption and shady dealings among Ukrainian politicians.

The award is given to “young Ukrainian leaders who have won fame, success, and acclaim at an early age.” The newspaper called for nominations via social media and print editions for young local leaders who have won fame, success, and acclaim at early ages. The winners were selected by the newspaper’s staff and given awards by a successful person in a related field. The final list includes politicians, artists, volunteers, soldiers, journalists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and activists.

The Kyiv Post describes Sedletska as one of Ukraine’s most prominent investigative journalists.

Sedletska joined Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague on a Vaclav Havel Journalism Fellowship. At the end of her fellowship, she received an offer from the RFE/RL’s Ukrainian service to create her own show. She now leads a team of some 15 journalists, producers and editors working on the program which covers corruption and other topics.
